Our brilliant U12s made it five wins on the bounce to secure the Premier B League title at Callum Friel Park! This 4–2 victory over Glenree adds to the Division 1 Cup they lifted earlier in the season, rounding off a truly memorable year for this special group of players.

 

Dunfanaghy flew out of the blocks, storming into a 3–0 lead inside the first 15 minutes with goals from Anthony Wilkinson, Matthew McFadden, and Cian Langan. Glenree hit back before the break through Bobby Brown, but a fantastic penalty save from Dylan Robinson kept Dunfanaghy firmly in control going into half-time at 3–1.

 

The second half was more evenly matched, and Glenree pulled another goal back when Faolan Caldwell scored from close range. But Dunfanaghy weren’t to be denied; and it was Cian Langan again who sealed the win with a superb outside-of-the-boot finish in the 43rd minute.

 

The team will be officially presented with the cup after their final game against Glenea on Saturday 6th September at 10am (PCC pitch). We’d love to see a big crowd there to cheer the boys and girls on and celebrate their incredible success! 🎉
