Dunfanaghy Youths played Gweedore Celtic and secured a good 2-0 win at Callum Friel Park against a talented Gweedore team on Sunday.
The first half was even, but gradually, as the half wore on, Dunfanaghy began to take control. Despite going close a few times, the half time score remained nil nil.
Dunfanaghy continued to press. Cian Langan got on the end of a Seve Roarty pass to finish to the back of the net to put the home side 1-0 up early in the second half.
Dunfanaghy grabbed a second when Matthew McFadden ran onto an Oisin Sweeney through ball to cooly finish. 2-0 to Dunfanaghy. Dunfanaghy created a number of other chances after this but couldn't add to the scoreline. 2-0 is how it finished.
