The Youths put on another very good performance to get a well-deserved 1-0 win against a good Keadue team on Tuesday evening in Callum Friel Park.
We started on the front foot from the first whistle. A good move down the wing involving a few interchanges between Anthony Wilkinson and Cian Langan ended up with Cian finishing into the bottom corner after 3 minutes.
Dunfanaghy continued to create chances with Cian and Matthew McFadden going close on several occasions. Rory Boyce, in goals, was very alert to one breakaway and came out and smothered the ball well at the edge of the box.
The second half continued in a similar vein with Cian, Oisin Nelis, and Liam McFadden being denied by the Keadue goalkeeper.
A very good team performance by Dunfanaghy, with Anthony Wilkinson, the player of the match.
Our next match is AWAY to illistrin on Sunday.
