A superb day was had yesterday as we took the Dunfanaghy Youths Football for All team to the Sport Ireland Campus in Dublin for a national blitz.
It rained, and then it rained some more, but it would take more than a few drops of water to stop these remarkable children.
We played 7 matches in total, won most, lost some, scored lots of great goals, tackled anything that moved, and were the last to leave the pitch.
They amaze us each time we have the opportunity to coach them. They are role models for all of us at the club as they play with fun and adventure, do it with tenacity, bravery and skill and and have a great sense of compassion and friendship to each other and their opponents.

A big thank-you to the parents for brining all the children that come to FFA, you are great supporters and that makes things much much easier for us. Thanks to Conor and Boyles buses for getting us there and back safely, and to all the other fantastic coaches that come along each week and helped make this happen.

And of course we cant forget Danny Ferry, who was the main driver behind all of this.
